Questions

Everything you might wonder

New to the studio or returning after a while — here is what most people ask before their first class at Duna.

Before your first class

  • I have never done yoga. Where do I start?

Morning Rise or Breath & Meditation are the gentlest entry points, but every all-levels class is beginner friendly. Tell your teacher before class and they will offer variations throughout.

  • What should I bring?

Just yourself and comfortable clothing. Mats, blocks, bolsters, straps and blankets are provided and cleaned after every class. There is filtered water at the studio.

  • How early should I arrive?

Ten minutes before the start gives you time to leave your shoes at the door, settle on your mat and breathe. The door closes at the start of class to protect the quiet.

Booking & memberships

  • Do I need to book in advance?

Classes are capped at 14 mats, so booking ahead is recommended. Drop-ins are welcome whenever a mat is free.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel free of charge up to 4 hours before class. Later cancellations or no-shows use one credit from your pass.

  • Can I pause my monthly membership?

Yes. You can pause once per calendar year for up to two months, and cancel any time before your next renewal date — no lock-in, no fees.

In the studio

  • Is the studio accessible?

The practice room is at street level with a step-free entrance and an accessible toilet. Let us know in advance and we will reserve a spot near the door.

  • Can I practise while pregnant or with an injury?

Often yes, with care. Share it with your teacher beforehand so they can adapt the sequence. For the first trimester or acute injuries we recommend Yin & Restore.

  • Do you offer private or group sessions?

We teach one-to-one sessions, small private groups and workshops for teams. Send us a message and we will design something around you.
